Just letting you know...

...I didn't make it.

Naturally I'm disappointed, but I can honestly look myself in the mirror and say that I did my best, and beyond that it was out of my hands. I can walk away from this experience with my head up high.

Thanks again to everyone for their kind wishes, and to Abby, whose friendship and encouragement lead me to throw my hat into the ring in the first place.

What now? Now I wait to see what the future will bring. And maybe, just maybe, try a little more often to make it better.
